Dr. Dalia A. Hamza is a leading expert in zoonotic diseases, molecular epidemiology, and antimicrobial resistance with over 18 years of research experience. Her work focuses on pathogen identification, genetic characterization, and antibiotic resistance profiling using advanced molecular and bioinformatics tools. She has significantly contributed to understanding foodborne pathogens, hospital-acquired infections, and One Health approaches linking human, animal, and environmental health. With over 60 peer-reviewed publications, she actively advances veterinary public health, disease surveillance, and diagnostic innovation. Her research also supports vaccine development, genomic analysis, and capacity building in veterinary education and international scientific collaboration.
