Dr. Hussan-ibne-Shoukani is an accomplished biomedical researcher focused on synthesis and functionalization of novel materials, nano-biosensors, delivery systems, and their interactions with biological molecules such as enzymes, proteins, and DNA. As Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, he has overseen significant research and industrial collaborations. He has contributed to N peer-reviewed publications. His work spans in vitro and in vivo studies, from laboratory to preclinical stages, including development of nanocarrier systems for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. He has led multiple inter-institutional projects involving material characterization with leading national agencies (NIH, NCP, SUPARCO), and has experience in translating laboratory findings into industrial products.
